After surviving a life-changing breakup, Popoy (John Lloyd Cruz) and Basha (Bea Alonzo) decide to finally get married. At their wedding, the future looks bright and full of promise. They put up their own construction firm and felt ready to bring a child into the world. But seven years later, the couple has grown weary of each other and are both secretly unhappy with their marriage. Popoy is struggling to keep the construction firm profitable without Basha’s help, fearful that asking her to go back to work would make it even more stressful for her to conceive. Basha is bored and restless at home, trying her best to fill her days with small victories as her failure to get pregnant continues to loom over their relationship. Their company’s impending collapse exposes the couple’s hidden resentments and disappointments, and changes the dynamic of their marriage. Popoy and Basha are then forced to ask themselves if their decision to give their love a second chance was truly worth it now that it is threatened to lead to another, and this time, unrepairable separation. This movie is a follow-up to the highly successful “One More Chance” that has now become a modern day Filipino classic on breaking up and moving on.
